I received this pillow at a discount in exchange for my honest review.  The memory foam pillow made by Smarter Rest came in and attractive looking box and it was wrapped with a lavender ribbon.  A complimentary sleep mask, set of ear plugs and an e-book was included with the pillow.  The pillow is composed of 100% premium quality memory foam and comes with its own cover that has a concealed zipper.  A standard sized pillow case will fit the pillow and I put one for extra protection.  It is convex shaped which means there is a dip in the middle to rest your head.  I found this pillow especially useful as I like to prop up and read in bed.  I did notice a slight odor when I took the pillow out of the plastic.  After a few days in the open the odor dissipated and I am chalking it up to being the new, pre-used memory foam.  Every person is different and has different body structure.  I put the thinner side under my neck and let my head rest in the dip.  Others may prefer the opposite direction.  I also liked propping the pillow under my lower back when I was reading in bed.  I need this extra support as I have a weak lower back.  The  pillow did keep its shape after using it for different purposes.  Overall, I am very pleased with this pillow.  Read the directions for cleaning carefully.  the cover needs to be removed and the pillow needs to be vacuumed- literally.  I would recommend giving this pillow a try.
