Air Hog Thunder Trax

My son was so excited when the Bzz Agent Box showed up at the door and he realized it was something for him.  He is thirteen so he is between that little kid toy age and the bigger kid age.  The Air Hogs, Thunder Trax RC Vehicle, 2.4 GZH is perfect.  Honestly, I had as much fun as he did.  After opening the box, he took time to read and go over the directions.  Be sure to allow charge time.  The directions were easily readable and while the vehicle was charging, we got the three AAA batteries to place in the controller.  Once the vehicle was charged, he had a blast having it zoom around the house.  And zoom it did!  He kept saying how fast it could go.  It also spun in circles, so the fun was in the way it moved as well as the actual movement.  The next test was water.  Since the weather did not lend it self to outside at the moment, and we were home, we decided just to fill the kitchen sink to test it out and see if it really does what it says it does.  One word- AWESOME.  Once it was floating in water, my son was able to use the controller to transform it from land mode to water mode.  Wow- and once transformed and he started driving it, it was like a speedboat.  We cannot wait to take it to the beach and or in a swimming pool.  This toy certainly did not disappoint.  It is a refreshing change from "sports" toys and video games.  Both my son and I highly recommend the Air Hogs.  It would be a perfect gift as well.  And, girls as well as boys would find it fun and fascinating!
