I received this product in exchange for an honest review. I have tried different devices to mount my cell phone in the car and have not found anything as good as this. My big need is for when I am using a maps app and need to have easy access to an eye view of my phone. Having the phone in the cup holder or falling at my feet while I am driving is not very safe. This phone holder can be used two different ways. You can put a magnetic piece between the phone and the case and the phone attaches to the holder in the vent. You can also stick a magnet on the back of the phone itself. The magnetic force is strong and chances of the phone falling are slim to none. A other nice feature is that the base can be rotated to portrait or landscape. It also fits different vents. In one car my vents are horizontal and in another they are vertical. This can work in either situation. A product that is useful.
