Arm n Hammer

     As a Smiley 360 Member, I received a free sample, actually an entire box of Arm N Hammer baking soda.  I also received a neat shaker as a bonus.  Growing up, baking soda was always used for just that, baking.  Things have come a long way.  Yes, I still keep a box in the refrigerator to neutralize odors.  But, I have also found that I can neutralize odors in the garbage disposal, kitchen sink, and the dishwasher.  This comes in handy when the cereal bowls with leftover milk are left in the sink all day.

     I also have used baking soda to unclog a drain.  That and a little vinegar and you have a homemade de-clogger.  My jewelry has started looking like new again after soaking it into a warm water mixture of baking soda. 

     However, my favorite, and the most traditional way to use baking soda is just like my mother does, in her homemade chocolate chip cookies and other treats.
